The B&B “the mulina of the Conte” is situated in historical center of Galatina, distant 20 km from lecce, lively citizen for its cultural activities and proud of its past and its beauties artistic and architectonic, between which it detaches the Church of Caterina Saint of Alexandria, of pugliese Romanesque style, considered a true one architectonic and artistic jewel.
The name of the B&B must to the discovery of some old documents, gives which evince that it leave where of the palace it has been situated the B&B was originally a flour mill: the ancestors of put into effect them owners, a sailor trader of silk of Neapolitan origins, in fact, he bought the existing Flour mill from Conte Gallarati Scotti in order to restructure it and included in its dwelling.
The idea to use a part of the ancient nineteenth-century palace after B&B, it was thought from Maddalena, yearning to live that house where had lived its ancestors, and from its husband José, moved for love from Spain to Salento. They had restructured the entire palace, realizing various solutions of hospitality. For who it wants to choose for one longer vacation, for the families with children, all those who has need of absolute autonomy, is on hand a monopremises (Madrid) and two-roomed (Barcelona), both with angle baking and private bath. For who instead it loves to turn and to visit every day a various place is to disposition one matrimoniale room (Cordoba) and one triple room (Seville) both with private bath, lacking in angle baking.

How to get there
Il B&B La mulina del Conte è situato nel centro storico di Galatina, in quella che i galatinesi chiamano “La via dell’Orologio”, a 50 metri dalla basilica di Santa Caterina d’Alessandria ed a 20 metri da Piazza San Pietro.
IN AUTO…
Dall’autostrada A14 uscire a Bari Nord e seguire per Brindisi Lecce. Alle porte di Lecce prendere l’uscita tangenziale ovest e da qui lo svincolo per Gallipoli.
Al Km 16 troverete l’uscita Galatina/Copertino. Subito al bivio girare a sinistra e seguire per Galatina. Entrati nel paese, seguire per il centro. Arrivati in Piazza San Pietro, prendere la strada che costeggia la Chiesa sulla destra (corso Vittorio Emanuele o "Via del orologio") .
IN AEREO...
L’ aeroporto più vicino è il "Papola-Casale" di Brindisi. Da qui occorre proseguire in macchina, treno o navetta.
IN TRENO...
La stazione di riferimento è quella di Lecce, raggiunta dalle FF.SS. (www.trenitalia.it). Da Lecce si può proseguire con le ferrovie Sud-Est (www.fseonline.it) sulla linea Lecce-Gagliano, in macchina o in autobus.
