Lovely apartment 2+2 sleeps composed of a monoroomed in a panoramic attic of 30 sq.mt of an ancient, distinguished building from 19th century, located in the historical centre of Piano di Sorrento village, at just 2,5kms from Sorrento centre. The privilege of this accommodation is that it is in a quite area, although it is situated in the hearth of the Sorrento Peninsula, not far from the local activities, and surrounded by lemon and orange grooves.

Entrance hall in Liberty style, lift leading to the attic with parquet on the floor, ceiling fans, AIR-CONDITIONING, central heating and breathtaking views of the Sorrento Peninsula, Ischia and Procida islands, full of light and furnished with valuable Neapolitan’s furniture from the 1900s, 2 full bathrooms. A lovely dining/living room with a fireplace and fully equipped kitchen corner (dish machine also) and a small panoramic terrace where breakfast can be served, complete the apartment.

In the near surroundings there is a park for children equipped with games, a tennis court, and a magnificent Communal Villa, "Villa Fondi", where you can find a little Archaeological Museum and where you can walk through the beautiful Mediterranean gardens or just read a book in the shade of a Mediterranean Pine. Moreover, from spring to autumn special events like concerts, ballets, paintings exhibitions etc take place. We recommend you the delicious pizza and food at Restaurant La Ripetta at just a few steps. One curiosity, each Mondays, a local market takes place along the road from behind GUS building. Here can be fun to go along to and you can pick up excellent bargains in shoes, handbags, knitwear, tablecloths and household goods.

How to get there
FROM NAPLES AIRPORT:
Take the Tangenziale road (which is the ring road that by passes the city of Naples) then from this highway take the SALERNO REGGIO CALABRIA exit, you will then come to the Autostrada del Sole toll post. Once out of the toll post (bring some Euro cash with you!), follow the directions to Sorrento SS 145 Costiera Sorrentina. Drive through 3 highway tunnels then along the panoramic coast road, by passing Vico Equense, drive through Meta di Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento, (all these are fractions of Sorrento).
FROM ROME:
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole Roma/Napoli (green sign post) follow this through to the Naples toll post. After paying the toll continue until you see the sign post (green) for the A3 POMPEI/SALERNO/REGGIO CALABRIA, this motorway will by-pass the city of Naples and take you to the next toll post where you will be asked to pay the standard toll, thereafter follow the above instructions as per Naples / Sorrento.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From the port of Naples take the hydrofoil to Sorrento.
From Naples rail station take the Circumvesuviana train to Piano di Sorrento. From Naples Capodichino airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Sorrento is the "CURRERI" bus line stopping in Piazza Cota, Piano di Sorrento Square. Walking distance to the apartment.
A public bus (ANM-ALIBUS) connects Naples airport to the railway station and the port of Naples or you can reach them by taxi.
