Casa Sgaravatti is an old house made up of two buildings.
The first one is the country cottage, built over successive periods from the first half of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th.
The second one, at short distance from the first, is an intimate, comfortable lodge surmounted by two ancient trees and surrounded by fields of grain with a panoramic view of the Dolomites.

Poplars and vineyards surround the property located in the Friuli countryside between Portogruaro and Pordenone, just two kilometers from the highway exit. Its strategic position offers a wide range of excursion options to guests. Within a short distance it’s possible to visit historical and archeological sites, parks and nature reserves, lakes where it is possible to fish and golf courses.
The cycle tracks lead through the charming countryside to small towns where restaurants and wine sellers offer traditional dishes and fine wines.

Recently restructured, it’s ideal for two people who love the quietness of the countryside and being in harmony with nature. The interior, composed of a lounge with a kitchen area, a bathroom and a double bedroom, contains furniture dating from the early 20th century, beds made from carved wood and comes with mod-cons such as a dishwasher, television, air conditioning and central heating.
From the large windows one can enjoy the view of the soft, rolling landscape interrupted by the mountains and by the peak of Monte Cavallo which in winter turns white and reflects the warm colors of the sunset. Other accommodation, in the central body of the farmhouse, is currently being restructured. When finished, it will be able to host from two to six people, with a lounge, kitchen and bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The rooms will be fitted with period furniture and domestic conveniences.
