There are no steps, which is ideal for children or anyone with disabilities, there is also an area in the garden for children to play in.
The centre of Vallecrosia and the beach are within walking distance but La Tavernetta is in a very quiet spot.
This is not all: Monaco and the all the whole Cote d’Azur are just along the coast.
Alternatively behind there are many unspoilt ancient mountain villages to visit each with there own cultural, gastronomic and artistic delights on offer in every season; plus hill walks with magnificent views to discover

How to get there
The Tavernetta del Gelsomino is in Vallecrosia, in the Provence of Imperia on the Italian Riviera.
By Car: - Autostrada A10 Genova-Ventimiglia:
Take the motorway A10 Genoa—Ventimiglia
Exit at Bordighera and turn right - direction Bordighera
Continue towards the roundabout and turn right in Strada Coggiola
At the end of Strada Coggiola turn right in Via Romana.
After 100 m at the roundabout turn right, then after 20 m turn left - direction Vallecrosia
Continue towards the end, until the roundabout and turn left in Via Don Bosco
The first turning on your right is Via Angeli Custodi
By Train: - the route direction: Genoa –Ventimiglia:
Get out at Bordighera station and take the bus to Vallecrosia; get off the bus at the centre, near the crossing Via Roma - Via Col. Aprosio. Go on in via Roma, in the parking; at the end of the parking, go down the stairs and you are in Via Angeli Custodi.
