Hospitality is a tradition in our family, which we are eager to continue and share with others. We have therefore decided to open up our home to guests and to offer you the opportunity to residein a castle, rich in history and legacy.
This ancient residence is perched on top of one of the many hills characterizin the Marche, it is surrounded by an Italian-style garden and a vast wood. The views are truly charming, they extend over the Cesano valley, stretching from the Appennines to the Adriatic sea. We are delighted to invite you into our lavish halls and suites, adorned by the exquisite nineteenth century frescoes of Corrado Corradi, one of the most renowned artists of our region.
Here, in this noble castle, Prince Maximilian de Beauharnais, nephew of Napoleon the first, chose to spend his honeymoon after the celebration of his marriage to the daughter of Czar Alexander of Russia.
The inside of the palace was decorated, upon his order, for the important occasion.

The town of Monterado is the perfect opportunity for a holiday between the sea and the hills in a historical setting with simple, genuine surroundings.
The very heart of the town is in the small square in front of the castle surrounded by the old houses and where busy daily life still goes on as before.
In the town of Monterado and immediate vicinity there are bars, restaurants, pizza restaurants, swimming pool, tennis courts, riding schools and sports fishing.
Due to its geographic location, the Monterado Castle is an excellent starting point for walks, outings and tourist excursions to the most beautiful, interesting Marche localities, with its wealth of museums, monuments, and natural, artistic and cultural beauty.
You can easyly reach Senigallia (15 minutes), Fano (20 minutes), Urbino (45 minutes), Corinaldo (5 minutes), Sirolo (50 minutes).
