Cascina Amalia is situated a few kilometres from the centre of Monforte d'Alba, on the hills of Barolo at an altitude of 465m. Thanks to its extraordinary position it commands an incredible and unique view of the characteristical landscape that this area offers. In this wonderful location you may have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday close to nature, in a quiet and refined environment. Our rooms are furnished with antiques of the early 1900s. In the breakfast room we serve a rich buffet with wholesome products, homemade cakes, jam made with our own fruit, cheese and salami. For your moments of relax a comfortable lounge, a beautiful garden, mountain-bikes and a small but well-stocked wine shop with valuable vintage wines are at your disposition. We also have an Internet point for your laptop. In the vicinities you can find a wide range of the best local restaurants of the Langhe area, land of great wines and truffles.

How to get there
From Milan: Motorway A7 (Milano-Genova); in Tortona take the motorway A21 (Piacenza-Torino) in direction of Torino; exit Asti EST, continue in direction of Alba/Barolo, once arrived in Castiglione Falletto follow the indications to Monforte. From the main square of Monforte continue towards Roddino. After about 2,5 Km you can see on the left an excavated road with our indication 'Cascina Amalia' by following the road for about 900 meters you reach the destination.
From Turin: Motorway A6 (Savona-Torino) direction of Savona; exit Marene, continue on the motorway till Cherasco. From the motorway exit continue towards Monchiero/Monforte. Once arrived in Monchiero follow the indications to Monforte. From the main square of Monforte continue towards Roddino. After about 2,5 Km you can see on the left an excavated road with our indication 'Cascina Amalia'; by following the road for about 900 meters you reach the destination.
From Savona/Genova: Motorway A6 (Savona-Torino) direction of Torino, exit Mondovi'. From the motorway exit take the SP12 in direction of Carru'/Alba/Bra and continue for about 18 Km till Monchiero and from here follow the indications to Monforte. From the main square of Monforte continue towards Roddino. After about 2,5 Km you can see on the left an excavated road with our indication 'Cascina Amalia'; by following the excavated road for about 900 meters you reach the destination.
