Details
"I GRAPPOLI" is the name given to the self-catering accommodation created after the recent refurbishment and restoration of an old building about 300 metres away from the winery. It now houses a number of separate rooms and apartments, each with independent external access.
The rooms are simple, comfortable, spacious, well lit and airy. Each apartment has its own balcony or private terrace.
Each room/apartment (with one or two bedrooms) is furnished in a classic or modern style with beds, cupboards and accessories, as well as a kitchenette (fridge, gas hob, oven, sink). Each apartment has its own bathroom and is suitable for use by disabled persons.
The private courtyard is used for car parking, and there is also a garden with a lawn.
When choosing the name I GRAPPOLI, care was taken to name each of the four apartments after the main vines grown in the wine-growing area of Serralunga d’Alba, the village where the winery is based: "Nebbiolo", "Dolcetto", "Barbera" and "Moscato".
A striking feature of the building is the fantastic view of the vineyards surrounded by the natural amphitheatre of hills encircling Serralunga d’Alba.
The picturesque village is dominated by the medieval castle, guaranteeing a setting of extraordinary historical and scenic interest.
