Would we like to take a holiday in the Piedmontese countryside, with the possibility of visiting villages or little towns rich in history and art?
We can certainly satisfy this desire of ours at the "Cascina Motette" of Castagnole Piemonte which lies between Torino and Pinerolo.
The building,which is in a farmstead, dates back to the 1500s. The lady owner has looked after the restoration and furnishing of the building with skill, competence and refined taste.
You enter through a large garden and two beautiful lavender hedges accompany you up to the door of the house.
The rooms are very comfortable and furnished with extreme care right down to the fine details, and the bedrooms have fireplaces and a good wiew over the fields.
The kitchen,where the guests have their breakfast, is very large and it weds the functional aspect of the modern furnishings to the charm of the antique objects.
In spring and summer breakfast may be eaten under a large bower.

How to get there
In auto: dalla tangenziale SUD di Torino, imboccare l'autostrada per Pinerolo e uscire a None; proseguire in direzione Castagnole e dopo circa Km.2,5 imboccare la strada sterrata sulla destra, seguendo il cartello CASCINA MOTETTE.
In Bus: dalla stazione ferroviaria di Torino Porta Nuova,lato via Nizza angolo C.so Marconi, prendere il bus diretto a Pancalieri e, dopo None, scendere alla fermata "Cascina Motette".
