B&B AL SASSO is situated in Toceno, the most panoramic point of the Vigezzo
valley and as the popular old song quotes "Toceno, charming town of the
valley is called the balcony..." We are in the Lepontine Alps at the
entrance to the delightful Val Grand National Park, a unique valley in the
heart of the Verbano Cusio Ossola province.
From the B&B AL SASSO, two of the most well known and visited villages of
the valley can be reached, Arvogno and Blizz. They are the starting point
of many interesting walks and tours.
The house recently built, consists of a double bedroom with a balcony and a
second double bedroom with an additional third bed and two bathrooms.
Available for our guests use are a spacious terrace and garden, equipped
with games and sunbeds. A reading corner, TV, stereo and kitchen
exclusively for your use, washing room, pram, high chair and a bicycle.

Every year there are many festivals organised in the Vigezzo valley, also
called "Valley of the Painters" due to the number of famous painters born
there such as Carlo Fornara and G.B. Ciolina. In particular the
"International Chimney Sweep Gathering", not to be missed in September,
together with the Christmas markets which bring together hobbyists of every
type. A few kilometers from our B&B you can find the magnificent "Sanctuary
of Re" a place for many pilgrims devoted to the "Madonna del Sangue" (Our
Lady of the Blood). We look forward to seeing you and don't forget to make
a nice journey on the characteristic little white and blue train which runs
along the entire Italian-Swiss line from Domodossola to Locarno. The B&B AL
