Hello! My name is Salvatore. Come on a trip with me! Why? Because a stay at Villa Michela is not just a holiday but the slowest, most languid trip you have ever been on. A trip through the simple and true flavours of a sun-kissed land, through the scents of the sea and its music. A trip through things done simply but perfectly. A peaceful trip, full of Sicilian atmosphere, be it a long or a short stay.
Your trip will include the historical hospitality of Sicily. You will enjoy the great breakfasts I prepare and local food festivals. You will learn to slow down, to let yourself be led by the love and passion that I have for this land.
Finally, a trip in which you will learn to fully appreciate the flavours, scents and sounds of this land … imagine a slow boat trip through the African waves that bathe our shores.

By car
Take the Autostrada del sole, the motorway of the sun to Villa San Giovanni. Take the ferry to Messina. Take the A18 motorway to Catania to the final exit and follow signs to Ragusa/Siracusa. Take the ss 114 road to Siracusa. Then take the superstrada 194 for Ragusa, drive for about 75 km and turn off at the exit "Ragusa Ovest". Follow the signs for Marina di Ragusa, drive for about 12 km, turn right for Santa Croce Camerina.
By plane
There are direct flights to Catania from the main Italian and international airports. Take the bus from Catania International airport to Santa Croce; hire a car (there are all the main car hire companies at Catania airport) – about 120 km (90 minutes) . See instructions above.
By train
Take the train to Catania. The bus station is near the train station and there is a regular bus service to Santa Croce. The journey takes about 2 hours.
