The Bed and Breakfast “La Cappellina” is 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Florence. Signora Cristina will give you a warm welcome to her house (small villa) in the Villa Medici area, close to the small chapel which belonged to the ancient and noble florentine family de’ Medici Tornaquinci. The large sitting-room with fireplace and huge windows gives access to the beautiful terrace from which you look onto a wonderful landscape of the Chianti hills. The terrace, which is reachable also from some of the other rooms, has comfortable furniture for peaceful reading and relaxation.
In spring and summer, when the weather is good, breakfast can be served on the terrace; guests can use the terrace table and barbecue facilities for preparing their own meals.

How to get there
From A1 motorway: South Florence Exit - Uscita Firenze Sud, turn right after the tollgate, follow the signs to GREVE-SIENA (SS 222 Chiantigiana). After approx. 2 Kms you reach a linden avenue (approx 200 m) which takes you into Grassina. After the avenue, it is possible to follow the tourist indications "Fonte della Fata Morgana" until Via Gobetti, or you will see two roads branching off: take the one on the right (Via Tegolaia), and go straight on (Via Pian di Grassina) for approx 300 m. When the road gets narrower and steeper, turn right (Via delle Fonti) and again take the first to the right -Via Gobetti). Drive to the top until you find a small chapel surrounded by cypress trees on the right. Park in the area next to the church.

From Florence S.Maria Novella railway station buses 31 and 32 connect Florence to Grassina.
