“La casa di Zefiro” is situated in the heart of the Montalbano a true lung that extends from Florence to Pisa and Prato to Pistoia.
All the family lives inside the house and a part of this has been used after Bed & breakfast. The activity is born in 2003, with the idea to offer to the customer an atmosphere similar to a hotel but with the typical characteristic of a family and with desire to make to feel just the host like to house its.
The villa is positioned in a point where it is possible to have panoramic of all zones that encircle it like Empoli, Montelupo Fiorentino, Montespertoli, Capraia e Limite but above all its the lush vegetation of the Montalbano and from its olive groves and vineyards that they give centuries they come cultivates.
The Montalbano is characterized from handicraft traditions gets a deeper knowledge in the Middle Ages and that still today they come handed on from the artisan masters. Moreover the area of the Montalbano is rich of history and for it gets passionate you to it of art and for who it loves to visit the small countries can to run in gastronomic, folkloristic and cultural events.
As it was said, from the house it is possible to have splendid panoramic of the zone from the ancients castles and villages of Capraia and Montelupo, become famous for the production of the ceramics and the terracotta, famous Montespertoli for the wine and its festivity that carries out every year to June. By now ours bed & Breakfast is favourite for its position, than it is located approximately 400m above sea level., in "Protected Area" and next "Natural Park" where on the top is possible to visit "the Devil’s stone", is for the favourable geographic position at the main historical centres like Vinci, Leonardo’s town, Pisa, Siena, Florence that is not so far about 30 minutes, Pistoia, Collodi, Pinocchio’s town, and varies other points of historical interest, artistic and cultural of the Tuscany.
The Bed & breakfast it has been furnished with the typical from Tuscany style respecting the place that it encircles it with cooked pavement in and of several comfort (TV with DVD, heating). Our host can relax in our garden that is to its disposition like from the terrace that can enjoy in all tranquillity the splendour the landscape.
The host has to its disposition of a private parking, use of the laundry, they come to it supplied the bed linen and from bath with regular clean every day of the rooms.
Not so far from the house they are found covered of trekking landscaped and naturalistic, field from golf to 9/18 holes and a fishing lake.
After a day passed in a visit or to walk, our host can finish to its day tasting some typical dishes of our zone like the Bistecca alla fiorentina, the panzanella or the minestra di pane known as "ribollita" and like dessert: cantuccini with the vinsanto.
