House “Le Mimose” is restored farm house among vineyards and olive groves in Montalbano natural park (once a hunt preserve of Medici family) it is 1 Km. far from Vinci, hometown of the famous Leonardo. Ortolani - Venturini family offers a traditional Tuscan hospitality with two large double bedrooms both with a private bathroom each, tv set and service including breakfast. On request, it can be used a dining room with kitchenette. Old-fashioned furniture. Breakfast is served in the main dining-room or in the garden during Summer. In the garden, our hosts can find a swimming pool and a little gymnasium.

How to get there
To reach the house by car:
From Firenze follow the highway Firenze - Pisa - Livorno (SGC - FI _ PI _ LI) as soon as you find the sign Empoli Est. Then follow the signs for Empoli then for Vinci. Before the town of Vinci follow the signs for Lamporecchio and after about 1,5 Kms., on your right you find the sign via del Piastrino. Follow it for about 400 mts. straight ahead till number 37.
From Pisa follow the highway Firenze - Pisa - Livorno (SGC - FI _ PI _ LI) as soon as you find the sign Empoli Est; then follow the former directions.
House “Le Mimose” can be reached by public transports, too. By train from Firenze and Pisa till Empoli station. From Empoli station you can take the bus COPIT (n° 8) every hour and you arrived in Vinci. (If requested and for payment the hosts can meet you at the railway station and take you to the house by car)
