The history of Casale Rotanselva:
After living abroad for 17 years, we found this beautiful place in 1987 and decided to make it central to our lives. We restored the antique farmhouse with much dedication and with the help of experts, keeping clearly in mind its original architecture and emphasising the characteristics customary of the region. Many members of our family have actively taken part in this project.
Although the rooms and apartments are provided with plenty of amenities, much attention was paid to the preservation of the traditional family focused atmosphere. They are complemented by green sunny meadows, a swimming pool and bicycles, as well as by a ping-pong and billiard hall.
Our philosophy:
The Casale Rotanselva evolved from the wish to convey to others and to share with them the traditional Italian family focused atmosphere, which has become rare these days.
Approximately 5 acres of land with one hundred years old olive, palm and fruit trees surround the farmhouse. Flowers with a typical Mediterranean scent as well as an overwhelming view of the Chiani-Valley create a sunny atmosphere, which makes the guests feel at home.
