The guest house takes its name from the very particular and ancient bridge without a parapet, one of which is at the entrance of the house, and is the only one remained in the town of Venice.
“3749 Ponte Chiodo” offers the opportunity to feel the spirit of Venice with accommodation in a recently restored (2003) antique Venetian house. It is located near the famous palace Ca’ D’Oro and, across the Grand Canal, from the famous Rialto fish and spice Market, then not far from St. Mark Square.
The guest house gives you the opportunity to be in the centre of the city, but at the same time, is located on a quiet street away from the busiest tourist thoroughfares.
On leaning out from the windows of the well-appointed and comfortable rooms you can admire its typical Venetian garden, where in the summer you can have your breakfast. Alternatively take in the picturesque view along the canal running along the main façade of the building, leading to the lagoon.

How to get there
Una volta a Venezia-Piazzale Roma dirigetevi all’imbarcadero, prendete il vaporetto n° 1 (costo 5,0 € ; durata tragitto: 12 min.) e scendete alla quinta fermata (Ca’d’Oro), percorrete la stretta calle (strada) Ca’d’Oro, attraversate la Strada Nuova (una via larga), svoltando sulla sinistra, trovate subito sulla destra una piccola piazza (campo) con un pozzo ed una fontanella, la attraversate in diagonale tenendovi sulla sinistra e sempre sulla destra entrate in calle Priuli, passate un ponte di ferro, ci troverete dopo 50 metri sulla sinistra, noi siamo al n° 3749 (come da mappa allegata). Non spaventatevi! Ci si impiega 3 minuti a piedi dalla fermata del vaporetto al b&b!
